From time to time a student may be absent from school. Parents must comply with their childs compulsory schooling by providing a satisfactory reason for absences. Parents should provide a reason for their child/rens absences either before or on the day of the absence or as soon as practicable.
There are three ways you can report a student absence to us:
- By submitting an Absentee Form via our School Stream App
- By texting a brief message to 0429 464 792*
- By emailing admin@leichhardtss.eq.edu.au*
- By calling 3813 3222 and selecting option 1 to leave a voice message*
* In all instances, please make sure to clearly state your child/rens full name, reason for absence and expected duration of absence.
