One of the major aims of the Prep Year is to make links between children's prior experiences at home and in other settings and their future learning in the school context.  During the Prep Year children will learn through a combination of play and focused learning and teaching.  The Australian Curriculum promotes a flexible learning environment where teachers purposefully create opportunities for learning and development.

For information on transitioning your child to Prep at Leichhardt please check out our Prep Handbook.
